Big winter storm will bring a slew of precipitation in the form of sleet freezing rain and a lot of snow to Oklahoma. The uncertainty is on how much sleet and freezing rain will fall during this storm. Also the uncertainty is how quickly will the change over to snow happen. If the change over to snow happens quicker and less sleet and freezing rain, then our snow totals could be over the roof from 9-12 inches of snow. If the changer over to snow happens slower, than that means we will have more sleet and freezing rain that will cut into the snow totals. Then we could only see 5 to 8 inches of snow in the state. We will fine tune the details as the storm gets closer. Here is my thinking right now of the scenarios that I mentioned.
