CONFIDENCE INCREASING THAT A WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT THE UPPER-MIDWEST AND MID-ATLANTIC STATES.

A winter storm will potentially affect areas of the upper mid-west into the Missouri Tennessee Valley, into the Carolinas and the east coast states. Confidence is increasing that a major Alberta Clipper System will come out of Canada and move into the east coast states and produce a Major Noreaster type winter storm system. Weather data continues to indicate that there will be a winter storm moving through these areas around January 14th to January 17th, 2022. Right now snow ratio amounts are anywhere from 1 inch of snow to as much as 12 inches of snow in some areas of the Mid-Atlantic states, even though the upper mid-west could get a good 6 inches or more of snowfall.
Here is my thinking right now again about snow amounts and what snowfall amounts I expect as of January 12th, 2022. Note that these snow amounts will change more and more and where the snow is will change over time. I will keep you updated!
